Place your bet in the evening from 7 pm UK time on Friday, the 21st of July or on Saturday morning before the match kicks off at 1pm, leaving yourself enough time to get your bets placed comfortably. I would aim for 11am or 12pm at the very latest ideally if you are leaving it until the morning because odds start changing quite quickly on the run up to the match.
As much as I’d love to bet on England today, we are too much of a favourite! You can still watch the match and tell any friends or family that you have bets placed today which means you will make a profit no matter what if you like 😉

Decimal odds at the bet exchange will be about 4.5 (Give or take 1 point or so either way) and remember that the bookmaker odds will nearly always be lower than your lay odds at the bet exchange. We would usually bet on something with lower odds for your money bet to keep our liability lower, but with the available World Cup matches today, this is the best that we’ve got and it will work absolutely fine 🙂
Free Bet
Your free bet should have arrived from yesterday’s money bet with a bit of luck, so you can now place that free bet and make some money! Note that if it hasn’t arrived in your account after your money bet has been “Settled” (Ie. the event taken place), then give it several hours or so before contacting the bookmakers’ live chat and asking where your free bet is. This can happen sometimes, so just be aware.
Again, this won’t always be the case, but we are betting on the same thing as we did above for our money bet.

Note that you will again need a fair amount of money in your bet exchange to lay this bet, so if you are not comfortable doing that, then if your bet offer has multiple free bets, you could just use one of them for now for example or if you really want, you can wait until the 24th of July where we have some closer matches on the 25th, Colombia vs South Korea with odds looking to be a bit tighter, but only wait for this match if you have to, ideally.
