You know what to do, here are your bets below:
Note – The odds might have slightly changed since the video was made and this page was updated, but just use the betting calculator to update what your lay bet amount should be. If you are not sure what I’m talking about then go back and watch the last video on the “Getting Started” training.
Money Bet 1 – Coral
Sport: Football -> World Cup 2022
Who’s playing: Qatar vs Ecuador
Date: Sunday, 20 November 2022
Time: 4:00PM – UK time (7:00PM local time in Qatar)
Outcome: Ecuador
1. Back Bet
Bookmaker: Coral
Deposit: £5 minimum*
Back odds: 2.37
Back amount: £5
* Remember to deposit more with the bookmakers if you can afford to AND consider also placing a £1 bet or maybe a bit more on another match or outcome so the bookmakers don’t think you are just coming here for their special offers. You could bet on another world cup match or maybe England winning the tournament for example. So you would place 2 bets in total. (1) the bet that I am telling you to for £5 and optionally also (2) a bet of your choice as described in the previous 2 sentences.
2. Lay Bet
Bet exchange: Smarkets**
Deposit: £10 minimum (£10 is fine as it’s a bet exchange you don’t have to worry about getting gubbed from Smarkets – Ie. They don’t care if you are just betting to make money from the bookmakers). We will make future deposits with Skrill, see the training video in “Let’s go!” to explain why.
Lay odds: 2.46
Lay Amount: £4.82 with the above odds, but as the odds have probably changed by now, please use the betting calculator to calculate this amount (The lay amount will be a little bit less than your back amount, generally speaking)
Liability: £7.04 with the above odds, but as the odds have probably changed by now, please use the betting calculator to calculate this amount. Click here to go to the betting calculator in a new window. Note you can use it from your smartphone if it’s easier.
Average Acceptable Loss to get the free bet: £0.19
Free Bet Earned: £20
Estimated Profit to come: £10+ from our free bet
Additional Notes:
1. Remember to log your bets on your spreadsheet as soon as you do them.
2. Remember to try to deposit more than the minimum amount at the bookmakers as described in the video, you can also place another bet after your initial qualifying bet to help you stay under the radar.
3. If you require any support then please go to the faqs page, which is prett bare bones at the minute but it includes how to get in touch with the support desk so that someone from my team or myself can get back to you. Note that the support desk operates weekdays, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, so your first port of call on the weekend for support is the bookmakers’ live chat and if you don’t feel comfortable placing the bets on a weekend then you can that particular bookmaker offer on one of the future matches in the week, allowing you to ask support any questions that you have during the week. Don’t worry if this happens, it’s ok!
Just realise that we plan to do roughly 1 or 2 offers every day that there is a match on, so if this happens, you will have an extra bet or two to place in the week on top of the other bets, which is totally doable as once you get used to this, you will be placing these bets in 5 minutes or so (But I’m getting ahead of myself!).
4. If you already have an account with any of these bookmakers then sometimes we will say an offer available for existing account holders that you can do or you can simply skip the bet (Ie. don’t do it) and do the ones that you don’t already have accounts with.
5. If you accidentally clicked the wrong button at Smarkets and backed or laid the wrong thing, then simply press the “Trade Out” button (Click again to confirm) and then start again from scratch, making sure you click the correct button, the second time around.
